I’ve been a Christian since I was 9 years old. During my journey, Christ has taken me through several iterations of myself, from evangelical to charismatic to touching on orthodox. Today, I consider myself a convergence Christian, combining all three streams of the Christian faith. If you were to worship with me during my private prayer times, you’d see me study and quote scripture. You’d see me lift my hands and worship and move as the Holy Spirit fills me. And you’d see me use prayer beads and pray some of the ancient prayers of the liturgy. But most of all, you’d see me point to Christ and to Him only with His Word in me! He IS the truth, the life and the way.
If you’re looking for an answer, for a sign….look for the sign that points to Him. He is loving and gentle. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. If you have come here to read my posts, you’ll find my devotionals, studies, photography, Christian book reviews and prayers. I’m not here to push anyone toward Christ, but if I can take your hand and lead you on this journey with me, you will find it to be the greatest adventure you have ever set out upon.
I welcome your comments, but ask you to be respectful to the others who comment as well. We all have opinions and interpretations. But their is ONE life, ONE body and ONE spirit. We are one in the body of Christ.
“May the LORD bless you and keep you. May the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. And may the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.:” Numbers 6: 22-26
How did I miss that you had a new blog! Excellent reading!!
I had not heard the term “convergence Christian” before. I guess it was something I took for granted as an Anglo-Catholic Christian. Always learning something new!
